The Place – This project is a private house in the unique grassland habitat in Northern Kenya.
The Brief – We were asked create a simple + humble garden which embraces the simple farmhouse architecture.
The Design – Our real focus was to create a garden using the key elements of this unique habitat and try as best as possible to keep our input as sensitive as possible to the yellow/grey of this amazing extensive landscape. The project is still in construction but our focus using the locally sourced local stone and a palette of plants sourced from site hopefully will allow for our ‘garden’ to blend and merge into the extensive horizon.
