Delia’s Memorial Seat
This seat and wild lily garden was built as a memorial for Delia Craig. An impressive lady who lived her whole life in the Kenyan bush. She loved the Kenyan wildlife and landscape and so a simple memorial was designed and built in her honour, using materials and plants found on a site chosen by Chloe & Michael. A Dry stone wall seat nestles in amongst an existing rock kopje, and the indigenous lily Drimia Altissima is planted en-mass for a very short and seasonable display, twice a year with the on-set of the rains.
